Ms. Shemeena Parakkal is a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience approved by the MOH. She is an expert in providing evidence-based psychotherapies and psychological evaluations to individuals, couples, and families. She has experience working with individuals, including children, teenagers, and adults, in inpatient and outpatient settings. Ms. Shemeena Parakkal graduated from SRM University in 2017 with an MPhil in Clinical Psychology with a Gold Medal and from Annamalai University in 2012 with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology.
One of her primary focus areas is family and couple therapy, where she employs therapeutic interventions to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance interpersonal relationships within family situations. Additionally, Ms. Shemeena Parakkal is skilled in projective assessments, using specialized techniques to explore unconscious thoughts and emotions, providing valuable insights into an individual’s psyche.
