Dr. Jayaprakas is a Pediatric Specialist with over 33 years of experience. He acquired an MBBS Degree and Diploma in Child Health. He further received his MD-Pediatrics from Calicut University, India. Plus, he is a MOH Specialist with an A-license. Dr. Jayaprakas is dedicated to providing his patients and their families with comprehensive and compassionate pediatric care. His patient-centered approach mainly focuses on preventive care and patient education. He is exceptionally skilled in diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute as well as chronic ailments in children.
Dr. Jayaprakas was employed at several hospitals in India from 1987 to 1994. He began his professional career in the United Arab Emirates in 1995. He worked at various well-known medical centers, hospitals, and healthcare groups in the UAE from 1995 to 2022.
Dr. Jayaprakas is a dedicated pediatrician who is committed to providing the best possible care to his patients. Through beneficial medical research, seminars, and presentations, he accumulated a wealth of experience and knowledge. He had conducted a one-year-long prospective study on the causes of perinatal mortality in a South-Indian village. Furthermore, he had given several presentations in the UAE on various medical topics for professional audiences, presented pediatric health topics on radio & television, and completed the training course on “Empowering Doctors in Lactation Management” sponsored by MOH. He was also a former treasurer of AKMG, an association of Kerala doctors in the UAE. Dr. Jayaprakas is a Life-member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the Indian Medical Association, and the AKMG, UAE. Additionally, he is also a founding member of India’s Breastfeeding Promotion Network.
