Dr. Shalini Somnath

Dr Shalini Somnath is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Government Medical college Trivandrum and went on to do her postgraduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum. She also holds a Diploma in IVF and Reproductive Medicine (UKSH – Germany)

After a stint as a Medical Officer in the Indian Air Force, she had been a successful private practitioner in Kerala before moving to UAE. She is adept at handling routine as well as high risk pregnancy cases. She has a special interest in infertility and has worked in renowned IVF centers in Trivandrum. She offers services such as Pap smear for prevention of cervical cancer, ob-gyn ultrasound scan, STI screening and treatment, contraception in addition to pregnancy care and infertility management.

She has been practicing in UAE since 2015 and worked with leading healthcare organizations in Dubai and Sharjah, before joining Lifeline Lifeline Clinic Rolla. She is highly skilled in her field and believes in providing holistic and comprehensive care to all her patients.
